I was happy to have Ellen and Tonya approve the idea that I just remain in my original costume. The script calls for Gay (yours truly) to come down the stairs late in the second act being carried and wrapped in one of Penny's (the mother) negligees. Well, we modified the "carried" part, natch, and the audience wouldn't get the idea of her putting on Penny's nightclothes, we thought.
