WEDNESDAY

After the usual morning things, I went over to Von's to pick up apples and several other items. Came back, put them away, then went out to meet Julie at 11:30. The Victoria Pub is only about a mile away, right down Victoria Avenue, so we got there in a few minutes.

There were about twenty of us all told and it was much fun. I sat next to Dusty, who was in my acting group, and across from Lynn; with her husband, she owns the The Greek at the harbor, a restaurant I've visited several times.

Chatted with lots of my companions, including those mentioned, Angel, Lenora, and Barbara. I ordered the chicken/vegetable pasta with Alfredo sauce, which was very good--had a hazy IPA with it, natch. I used to go to the Vic Pub fairly often years ago and I enjoyed it so much, I want to go again. I'm third in on the left-hand side of the table on the right (got it?):

Got home about 1:30 and immediately made the roasted apples I like so much. I just core them and season with Stevia and cinnamon and they're yummy:
I found that smaller cottage cheese containers are just the right size for the apples, so I put them in and stowed all four in the freezer to enjoy later.

I came across this gem below from 52 years ago. The attendees were her nieces and nephew, great-nieces and nephews, and great-greats. Shown here are, front left,  baby blonde Carolyn's daughter and front right, my Alison, Mike, and Ellen. Party was held at Betty's big house on Atlantic Avenue:
