"FRIED" DAY

"Fried" in the sense it got hot as hell--a nice change from the coolness, seems to me. Cheryl picked me up for T.O.P.S., as usual. As for weight, I stayed the same from two weeks ago--128.4--and lost .04 at the meeting, to 128.7. There were only four of us there, but happily, one was Bev, back from Minnesota where she had gone for a memorial service for her brother. She was the biggest loser at four pounds off, but we were sorry to hear she probably wouldn't be continuing. Her husband's cognitive problems are worsening and she has a lot more going on in her immediate and extended family. It had gotten wonderfully warm and sunny and I enjoyed sitting there eating my sandwich and reading War Made Invisible, a book that's so damn true, it hurts.

I was glad to realize when I woke up just now, that I had slept well; I hope the RLS is over. Texted Diane to be sure we're still on for lunch today--we are and will eat at the park across from her place after I take my donations to Goodwill.

FRIDAY--I'M IN AND SO IS THE GESTOPO

Hey, I gotta say, it wasn't a bad day. Home, I had lost 1.2  (to 129.4) and at T.O.P.S., I was down 1.1 to 130.2. Incredibly, I was the ...
