Not the best of days: After I put a wash in, I sat down at the laptop, did my thing, the decided to print some information on the Access Van for Sharon. Selected the info, pressed "print" and it wouldn't print. I'm not going into detail, except to say, I Facetimed Ellen and she tried to guide me through the fix, step by step for more than an hour, but with no luck. She had the contractor coming over, plus had errands to make and I felt so bad to have monopolized her time that way. We decided I'll consult Asurion to see if I could get any suggestions for what to try next.
Well, that was the plan, but I never got there. I had a late lunch, then took a longer nap than I had intended; it was 4:40 when I go up. I just didn't feel like going out--it was so hot and I was tired. Instead, I cleaned and chopped two pounds of onions, then fried them; froze some and put the others in the fridge so I can add them to things.
More stumbles: I had charged my medical alert device overnight, but about 5:00 pm, it informed me it needed to be charged. I put it back in the charger, then called the company. I was told that the company (Connect America) was experiencing connection problems with its charger and I would receive a new one in the mail.
And more: I called Julie to see if she was going to the BCNN meeting today, but no, she's driving to Colorado. Since four (or five, can't recall) members had gone to my show, I wanted to go, so called the Access Van for transportation. However, when I got up just now, I changed my mind. I've been off my healthy food/good exercise regime, have gained weight and want to nip this in the bud, so I called to cancel. I'll walk to Wal-Mart instead, as I need to pick up a few things.

Many thanks to my blog buddy, Pat R. for the photos below. The second one, Holy Spirit class of 1952, has her brother and mine in it, but I can't quite identify them. In the first one, I can several of them.
Above, front row from left, before table: Pat Mooney, Mary Ann(?) Barker, Elva Gruhler, Michael Keating. Other side of table: Maura Wolfe, Joan Fiore, and Mary Latzo. Behind table, l. to r.: Pat Reynolds, Cassie Wayland, Peggy Hartman. George Wimberg is standing in the back, to the right of the mirror. I know several of them are gone, including Joan, Mary, Cassie, and Peggy--surely others are, too.
O lost and by the wind grieved/Ghost, come back again.
Holy Spirit High School, Atlantic City, NJ, Class of 1952.
