Again, I had a problem sleeping, but felt okay when I got up. Talked to Ellen and she'll be here at noon today to help clear things away for the carpet cleaners, who are coming on Tuesday. I can't even remember what I did in the morning--it must have been wonderfully exciting--aside from this and that on the laptop.
Made lunch and thought I'd eat at the little park across from Ralph's, so I set out about 2:00. However, I didn't get far when I changed my mind, as it very hot. Got my book and went to the middle near the pool. Darn, it was too breezy, so I went home and had lunch on the patio. Before I did, a middle-aged couple walked past, the man holding a huge array of balloons. I chatted with them for a bit and the woman said they were having a pool party for their ten-year-old niece and why didn't I join them? I was tempted, but decided not to intrude. Went home and ate, then watched a documentary on the life of Yul Brynner. At that point, I napped, as I've been doing lately for good or ill.
Mike asked me to text him something and darn, Cricket, my carrier or whatever it's called said they couldn't send my text back because my location "isn't supported from my location." I have no idea what that means, but I called Ellen and she sent it; I still don't know if he got it.
Anyway, it's now 9:00 pm on Saturday and I don't feel like elaborating on anything else. Will call Cricket tomorrow....
Okay, it's tomorrow, that is, Sunday at 7:30 am, and Cricket won't be skittering around until Monday, which is tomorrow--a different tomorrow, that is and oh, the hell with all this cyber-mumbling. I put in a load of white wash and after I finish my coffee, will contemplate clearing out for the carpet cleaners. (At least, I got some alliteration in. 😛)
