FRIDAY AND FRANKIE

Kind of a pokey day, probably because I had slept so poorly. However, I was the biggest loser at T.O.P.S., with a 1.9 pound loss (to 131.5).  At home, I was 130.2 for a loss of two pounds. And oh, boy, big money: There were only four of us, plus Cheryl's sister, who was visiting, so I won a big three dollars. Sharon didn't attend; she had called me earlier to say she had had to go to Urgent Care for treatment of an ITU.

Home, put in a white was, had breakfast, then went to Von's and CVS for necessities. Made lunch, ate it at the pool area, and took a nap.  Sharon called again late in the afternoon to tell me Lewis received the letter from DMV again turning down his request for get his license back. Now he had 94 days to file yet another appeal. We talked for 45 or so--I feel so sorry for her.

Mike Facetimed about 8:00 pm and we had a conversation which included the song "On A Little Street in Singapore," which he said was very popular in the 40s. I never heard of it, but here's Frankie:

Unfortunately, I again had a restless night. I must sleep better tonight, as tomorrow I have docent duty at Dudley House.
