TUESDAY AND TROUBLE

A frustrating day and there seem to be plenty later. Printer paper was stuck, but I didn't try to fix it, as I was spending all my time and energy on the solar/credit score problem. I don't even want to describe it, except to say I again made phone calls ad infinitum.  Later, I took my lunch and ate at the pool. Did I go in? No, it was a little too breezy. (Besides, I didn't have my bathing suit on๐Ÿ˜.)

Noreen called with sad news: Her friend of 67 years has died. She said their sons grew up together, they went through divorces at the same time, and had been best friends and confidants since they were young marrieds. She is devastated and I feel so sorry for her. Time is a thief.

Happily, Ellen had come to Ventura for a doctor appointment--doc said her knee was doing very well. El then came over, fixed the printer, (paper jam)  and called Spruce Power, the outfit in Houston that had bought MJR Solar. She was on the phone for almost an hour and I fervently hope the damn thing is okay now and that my credit score will revert back to exceptional.

El left at 5:15, as she was going to "Game Night" at the clubhouse where she lives. Her birthday is tomorrow, but we decided we'd celebrate it on Saturday when Greg is back from Colorado. Darn, I didn't look at my calendar and saw that "Irish Night" is Saturday--I'll see if they're available on Sunday.

I have a hearing aid appointment at 1:00 today and wouldn't you know--they've been satisfactory lately. Well, I'll take the new mold, anyway, and see if it's better.
