MONDAY

Happy, happy day--Ellen fixed my laptop and installed my printer! It took her almost an hour, as the printer hookup is pretty intricate. As to why I couldn't get into this blog, it had something to do with the way I closed it down and started it up again; I hope I do it right the next time.

We then went to lunch at the Cabo Beach Grille, a small Mexican restaurant right across the way in the Von's shopping center.  I had a burrito and an IPA, natch, and we sat outside, which was lovely. It was very warm, but with a gentle cool breeze.

After, we dropped my book off at the library, then drove down to Grocery Outlet for tomatoes, Romaine    lettuce, paper products, and so on. El left for home about 5:00 and I sat down to sketch in Saturday and Sunday on this blog, and now, cover Monday's doings.

Suzanne texted me with an invitation to this "Halfway to St. Patrick's Dance" on September 13:

I accepted and will go with Suzanne, Vickie, and our neighbor, Kathy. All three are strongly committed RCs, but I don't hold that against them--(joke, joke, I'm only kidding!). Anyway, it looks like fun.

Shannon had asked if I could meet her for breakfast and we texted back and forth. We decided on Two Trees on Thursday. She'll pick me up at 9:30.
