WEDNESDAY AND BP DAY

Busy day, but I'm making this short to atone for the marathon post yesterday. Ellen got here about 12:30 and we first went off to CVS for my new tremor medication and to trade in  the upper arm BP monitor for a wrist type. After, we stopped at Wood Ranch for lunch (we both love their BBQ salad), then at home, El called  Primary Medical to get referrals to the neurologist, physical therapy, and dermatology. She's determined to take me to a geriatric doctor, too. That sounds like overkill (😂) to me, but I'll  go along with it. We have an November 3 to get the referrals. In addition, she got my T.V. partly better and, happy day, resolved the problem with my printer.

Aside from that, we talked, laughed, and--oh, yes--argued vehemently about a variety of topics, mostly-but not all-- concerning tactics I'll take to address health concerns. The walker conversation is mostly still pending; I want to look at, try out, and then decide what type is best for me. I don't care what it costs, I want it to address my tendency to lose my balance, sturdy, with a seat and carrier, that doesn't look like tank going down the sidewalk.

The T.V. isn't working right; El tried to fix it, and called Yandoo Communications with no luck. I'll see if I can locate a repair person or otherwise pursue it today.

While El was here, she read the directions and I used the BP monitor for the first time:

I'm supposed to do it twice a day and Primary Medical gave me a goal of 140/90 or lower. Yesterday, it was 149/96 and a few minutes ago, it was 160/96; I'm not sure if that's cause for alarm or not. Anyway, I'm to record it every AM and PM, which I will. After considering whether or not, I'm not going to include it here. as that seems obsessive to me. My policy with a health concern is to ignore it and it'll go away.* Said goodbye to my darling daughter, had dinner, watched something or other on YouTube, then slept well.

P.S. OOPS! I just noticed I had accidentally entitled yesterday's entry as "Wednesday." Of course, it was Tuesday and this one is Wednesday. Corrected it.

* Kidding!
