THURSDAY AND AMAZING GRACE

Did a color wash, then a few small chores. Called my brother, Larry, and we had a long talk. He's  experienced some health issues recently, including balance problems. He now uses a walker, sometimes even in the house. Gee, I'm amazed--he's only 92.

Other than that, I did very little. It was a bit chilly--for Ventura, that is--and I mostly just futzed around. That was okay by me, as I had had what I regard as a busy--but very enjoyable--day on Wednesday. Took a nap on the couch after lunch.

On Instagram, I came across a rendition of "Amazing Grace" by a heavy metal singer named Dan Vasc. I had never heard of him before, but it was an overwhelming experience--just sublime. I'm not religious, but my belief is, if you believe in something with passion, damn it, don't softly croon about it--give it all you've got. And here it is:
I'm not sure what's wrong with this, but it doesn't seem to run properly, so I also sent it to you via email. It's also on my Facebook page.

Wow! OMG! I share your sentiments entirely. I never heard of him either. What a gift. I’ve subscribed to his channel. Thank you for sharing this. /patti rogers

Glad you liked you. I've listened to it several times and for some reason, tears came to my eyes once or twice. I didn't even know he had a channel--I'll describe.
