WEDNESDAY AND 48 HOURS TO GO

This is going to be short because I didn't get home until 10:15 and just got up at 7:00. Ellen came at 1:00 and we went to wacky Wal-Mart. I had a big list of items and spent $102.55--happily because now I have a good supply. We lunched again at Wood Ranch and I had their barbeque salad--boy, was that good.

El, that dear girl, had brought her rake and even a plastic trash can and spent raked out a lot of the pine needles from my patio--she hauled to the trash place a huge amount and it looks so much better. I prepared for rehearsal--called for 6:00, as we're coming down to the wire. Ellen took me, as Amy, who usually does, is a teacher and school just started yesterday (it's early here), so she wasn't going until later.

Rehearsal went pretty well--still a few bumps, but not serious ones--and here are a few random shots:
Director Erica giving notes and instructions; stage manager Yolanda in front.

One of the flyers; the first pic refers to Keke's dance, the second to Bob's "alien" monologue.

My head shot--I'm not nuts about it--co-director Brian under.

Artist and photographer Meredith.

As mentioned, we were there a long time.Went through whole show from start to finish and luckily, were able to shave some time off the length. Erica gave her after-notes, Amy took me home, and of course, I had to stay up long enough for dinner (leftover salad), then hit the sack. Dermatologist  appointment this morning--ugh!--our last 😦 rehearsal at 6:00, and tomorrow: SHOW TIME!

THURSDAY

Slept pretty well (no wonder), as noted. I wasn't at all hungry for breakfast, but just had coffee and got ready for the dermatology app...
