Now I'm getting a little concerned about the weight. Yesterday I was up 1.4 at home to 128.6 and up .07 to 129.4 at T.O.P.S., so I'm now teetering on the brink of the abyss--129.4. As 130 is in the danger zone, I'd better shape up pretty quick. The problem isn't that I've gone out a lot, it's the opposite. When I don't get out, I tend to get bored and turn to food. And why haven't I been getting out? Because it's been cold, rainy, and in the fifties temperature-wise! In fact the high yesterday was a frigid 51!
Anyway, the meeting was the usual chat fest. Sharon wore these incredible sneaks that may or may not be for Halloween--or something:
Home at 10:00 and I just had a bowl of cereal, as I was going to lunch with Noreen. She picked me up at noon--my cane in one hand and my umbrella in the other, as it was still coming down. We went right across the way to Chili Basil, the Thai place, and had an enjoyable time, as I always do with Noreen. Got home close to 2:00 and I took a short nap. Happily, the forecast for today says sunny with a high of 61 and I don't see rain in the ten-day, either.
Darn, management just sent out an email that the community gates are closing today. They had been kept open during the fires in the hills and while the roofers, then the tree people were here, so for several months. That was more convenient for me, although of course, I have a remote to open the gates. Oh, well, what the hell...
