TUESDAY

Continued to deal with financial stuff in the morning and am almost finished. Talked to Ellen and she asked me to call the attorney at 1:30, which I did. 

Had lunch with Kathie, LaVerne, and Paula. Stopped at the office to make sure I didn't have to do anything to have the new higher rent taken from my bank account. I don't and was told it's taken out at 9:00 pm on November 3--that is, last night. Okay, that's good to know.

As requested, I called the attorney, Maria, at 1:30 about the power of attorney/trustee thing. I assured her I was perfectly okay with the change and she'll modify the paperwork. At 2:00, I participated in dime Bingo and won two games. 

I was asked to provide names and phone numbers of those I wanted to come to my ninetieth party in December; will do, but it may be hard to include everybody.  

I received a card from my Japanese grandson about "Bon," which I was told, is a holiday there like Halloween. Hmm...I looked it up and found this:

Obon, or Bon, is a traditional Japanese festival honoring the spirits of ancestors, celebrated with family reunions, grave visits, lanterns, and Bon Odori dances, typically in mid-August.

Had dinner with just Paula and Denise, which was fine by me. Today, I don't have anything going on in the morning, but Ellen will be here at 1:15. She'll look at my laptop (it's very slow) and maybe we'll take it to Asurion before my Radnet appointment at 3:00. 

Had a terrible time sleeping last night and think I'll have to take a nap this morning.
