MONDAY

Susan picked me up and off we went to the Stone Fire Grille for the Soaring Spirits bi-monthly lunch. Besides she and I (and Gizmo), Gayle, Renee, Narell, and Glenda came and we had a fine, convivial time. I got the soup and salad (and a hazy IPA, natch) and had enough to take the salad home. Got back after 2:00 and did some wearisome financial stuff. 

Ellen called after having been in touch with the attorney, who wants to talk to me about changes in the power of thing, asking that I call her today at 1:30, which I will. 

Had dinner with Kathie, Paula, and Denise. We were surprised when LaVerne sat at the next table without saying hello. Frankly, we're all pretty okay with her sitting elsewhere. Dinner was BBQ chicken, and tasty, although I ordered only a half portion.

George Wimberg called, but I missed it, as I'm having problems with my phone; I'll call him today. Vickie texted me to say Sharon had invited her to the 55th wedding anniversary party, also. Great, as we'll go together and she'll pick me up.
