AAGH! I just can't go over all that happened in the last two days, but will minimize the more important parts:
WEDNESDAY: Ellen picked me up and we went to the attorney's office to start setting up the power of attorney stuff. I was favorably impressed with Maria, the attorney, and will receive things to sign and so on.
THURSDAY: We had the "Halloween parade," which was actually a lot of fun. I didn't expect so many to dress up, but at least twenty did and we all enjoyed it. Denise stopped in after lunch and we had an enjoyable talk. I called the Access Van to take me to Asurion today to get the laptop fixed. Also made a date to meet Vickie and Suznne for lunch after; I had completely forgotten another committment I had made, but will have to cancel that. Had dinner with Kathie and Paula and that wrapped up the day.
