MONDAY

I have no recollection of what I did early in the morning aside from libations and breakfast, but about 10:30 I took off to Telephone Road. It was nicely warm, with a slight breeze, but overcast, which I find objectional, but to whom should I complain?

Got to Stone Fire Grille at noon for lunch with the Soaring Spirits gang. Fewer than usual, only six of us attended, but we had a good, convivial time. In answer to Vera's "how are you?" I responded with the good news (Gwennie's return) and bad news (my falling out with Diane). The latter became a topic of discussion, and understanding (not "you shoulds") was expressed. We then turned to other topics, including Gayle's recent eye surgery to correct her myopia (I had that done twenty of so years ago).

We didn't break up until 2:00; then I went over to Barnes & Nobel. I still haven't spent the gift card, but didn't see anything I really wanted. Think I'll look on-line. Stopped then at Trader Joes, but didn't see anything there, either, so bused home.

I was thrilled to get a number of photos and videos from Tokyo son. They featured his boy, Mr. K., now eleven and truly a tall and handsome boy. I miss them so much; would love to plan a trip to Japan, but I'm afraid that's probably not going to happen.

Now I'm debating with myself whether or not to go over to Great Clips and get my hair cut today. I greatly dislike getting my hair cut but it's really much too long. Tune in tomorrow for this exciting decision. 😉

Hey, I gotta say, it wasn't a bad day. Home, I had lost 1.2  (to 129.4) and at T.O.P.S., I was down 1.1 to 130.2. Incredibly, I was the ...
