After breakfast, I took a load to the laundry room, washed it, dried it, retrieved it, folded it, and put it in its proper place, as determined by me. Ah--it gives me such a feeling of power--NOT!
In response to her invitation to patriciate in the planning of the new, "Senior Memories" presentation, I invited Suzy to come for lunch, then see the clubhouse. She accepted and will be here next Tuesday. I hope we can work something out around this.
Lunch with Cheryl, Mary, and Kathie. The latter wants to try that weight loss drug my daughter, Ellen, has used to drop 63 pounds. Kathie asked if she could call Ellen to ask about it; I contacted El and yes, she'll be glad to talk to Kathie.
Went to dime Bingo, although again I had only quarters. I won a game--big deal, as the pay off was something less than two dollars. However, it was sort of fun (the jury's still out on whether I enjoy it or not). Stayed for the "social hour," which included a "Family Feud" setup, which was also sort of fun. I decided not to stay for Trivia, but even so, by the time I got back to my apartment, it was 4:15 and close to going down to dinner....
...which I had with Kathie, Cheryl, Mary, and Keith. Main dish was chicken ala king, which was really good, and I topped it off with raspberry sherbet as a special treat.
I again slept well--maybe this cutting caffeine thing is really working.
