Breakfast with Keith, as usual, then Julie picked me up at 9:00 for the BCNN meeting. This was the first of the year, so the new officers were introduced. The program consisted of the "club" leaders explaining their programs--book clubs, tailwaggers, Asian Mahjong, happy hands, biking, hiking, bingo, and so on. None appeal to me, certainly not a book club; when I read a book, I don't give a damn what anyone else thinks about it. Enjoyed catching up with Bridget (who lives right across from The Orchard); Ellen's friend, Joanne; Dusty; and various others.
We didn't go to lunch, which was just as well, as I got back in time to join Keith and Cheryl. The entree choices didn't appeal to me and I had a pretty good cheeseburger. Took a nap after.
When I went down to dinner, I met Mindy, activities manager, and she asked me about writing a review of The Orchard on Yelp!, which I had forgotten. I will, as soon as I get around to it.
Got a Message from Susan, my nephew, Patrick's wife, asking if I had any info on my father's Villanova days (he graduated in 1931). After dinner, I spent a considerable amount of time trying to find the info, but had no luck. I was able to get some things on line, notably a page from the Villanova yearbook of 1922 on my Dad, with pic and info:
