Happy day, the rain has stopped! However, it's chilly--46 degrees as I write this at 7"14 on Wednesday.
I called SCAN Transportation to book a ride to P.T. in Oxnard today. I was going to get a return home trip, too, but Ellen called to ask if I wanted to go to Wal-Mart to buy boxes, and yes, siree, so she'll pick me up from there. A welcome coincidence: Shortly after, my friend, Julie, called to ask if I wanted packing boxes; she has some in her garage, left over from when she moved. Uh, huh, I sure do, so El and I thought we'd stop there first. However, Julie called back later and has to be somewhere then, so Julie will drop them off. El and I also decided to add a stop at the College Pharmacy, to look at the walkers there, then got to lunch.
Had a late breakfast, cleared up some financial stuff, then took my now-customary nap. Slept for close to an hour, then was awakened by a call from some independent living in Oxnard. I rejected his advances and got rid of him.
Walked out to get my mail, then make lunch and ate on the patio. Lazed around the rest of the day with chores here and there, but generally not doing anything notable. Watched a documentary on the Laci Peterson case, then went to bed. Ho-hum... 😴
